In accepting the Republican vice presidential nomination Cheney declared that he's looking forward to working with a president who will work for the accomplishment of goals through reaching across the partisan aisle and working with political opponents to achieve a mutual goals. Richard Bruce Cheney, son of Richard Herbert Cheney & Marjorie Lauraine Dickey was born on January 30, 1941 at Lincoln Nebraska. Cheney was moved to Casper, Wyoming with his family in the year 13 when he turned thirteen. He was raised by his father who worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, directed the soil conservation district in Casper.
